How to Enter Win A Million for Free

December 5, 2025

You can play WinAMillion either online (using various payment options) or by post.

A postal entry is completely free – you only need to pay for the postage stamp. Both free postal entries and paid online entries are entered into the same prize draws and have an equal chance to win cash.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Before entering by post, you’ll need to create an account at Win A Million.

You can register in just a few minutes using your Apple ID, Google account, or a valid email address.

Please note:

  • You must be 18 years or older to create an account.
  • You must agree to the Terms and Conditions during registration.
  • Prize draws are open only to private individuals (not companies or businesses) who are residents of the United Kingdom.

Step 2: Get Your Postal ID

Once your account is set up, log in to access your Postal ID, which is displayed in your account dashboard.

This unique ID links your postal entry to your registered account and allows the Promoter to notify you about draw results and any winnings by email.

Step 3: Prepare Your Postal Entry

Take a postcard and clearly write the following details:

  • Your Postal ID (User Account Number)
  • Your full legal name
  • Your home address (PO Box addresses are not accepted)
  • City and postcode
  • Phone number

Then, write five numbers between 1 and 34, separated by commas.
These are your draw numbers.
The final number is automatically assigned as the Millionaire Ball.

Example:

#11111
Mr John Smith
Flat 2B, 45 Demo Road
London
W1A 1AA
Number: 1, 2, 3, 4, 33

Step 4: Send Your Entry

Send your postcard by First or Second Class post to:

Win a Million
PO Box 8167
Derby
DE1 9HP
United Kingdom

Your postcard must be sent unenclosed and written clearly and legibly.
Only one draw entry per postcard is accepted, so include only one set of numbers per postcard.

Step 5: Processing Your Entry

Once received, your Postal Entry will be processed by us within three (3) working days. After processing, it will be entered into the next available prize draw.

For example, if your entry is received after 9:00 pm on a Friday, it will be entered into the Wednesday draw at the latest.

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your postal entry has been processed.

Postal entries are treated exactly the same as online entries and have the same chance of winning.

Important Notes

  • Each postcard counts as one draw entry only.
  • Entries must be written clearly and accurately to be valid.
  • You must be a UK resident aged 18 or over to take part.
